Episode 6:

Dinner Party

Chocolate Souffle

Dishes to impress are hard enough to prepare, let alone find – and when you compound the problem with being gluten free, it can be a daunting task.

We are excited to be able to bring you some dinner party treats that will impress the fussiest guests, be they GF or not!

You can't go past a Souffle as a crowning finish to a delicious meal and here we show how to make you the hostess with the mostess – or host as the case may be :-) Then there's a couple of additions that will make your dinner parties the talk of the town: Scrumptious Spinach and Fetta Arancini rice appetisiers and decadent Mocha Truffles for "afters".

And we meet Margy, a GF mum with a non-GF family who is winning them over to her dietary delights, and also 11yr old Karly who's not fazed by the challenge of discovering the way to make GF living a tasty proposition (with a little help from her mum).

Episode 7:

Snacks

choc chip cookies

One of the the hardest things to overcome in a gluten free diet is the disappearance of fast food. What we miss may not be the food (or mysterious food-like substances in most cases!) but the loss of convenience is certainly painful. For those who need good food fast while on the go, here are three superb snacks that could also find their way into the odd shcool lunchbox or three.

We also come back to visit the '09 Irresistible Gluten Free show held in Melbourne and talk to Jane Davies, EO of the Victorian brach of the Coeliac Society, plus a GF dietician, GF retailer and three generations from the bush.

Make sure you try out these sancks whose recipes are on the recipe page as you should never be without a quick treat – just in case!

Then for something more oriental we show you how to make the classic Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls, but Peking Duck style – you will LOVE these. And then for a really unusual but simple and simply delicious snack, check out how to make a hot 'n tasty Rice Noodle Cake.

Armed with these treats you'll never look back and be the envy of the lunchroom once again!
