Happy birthday to us!

Well it's been a long time gestating but then something this big should take a little while to cook before being popped out of the oven!
There are many GF people in the world today – over a billion they say, and growing fast – and they are gluten intollerant for many reasons, eg: Coeliac Disease, Irritible Bowell Syndrome, or even as a healthy lifestyle choice. But the fact remains that there are so many GF people and they've never had a TV cooking show made specially just for them.
We are now very proud to be able to say we are the very first totally dedicated gluten free TV cooking and lifestyle show in the world!
So now all the gluten free people who need to see how to prepare delicious GF recipes, learn about the latest GF scientific and medical findings and take a peek at how other gluten free personalities cope with the rigours of managing a GF lifestyle have a place to go.
We'll be posting loads of recipes, product reviews and information here at the website and, of course, you'll still be able to watch any Gluten Freedom episodes you couldn't catch on the telly. They will be available to signed-up members for live streaming from this site after they have been broadcast so keep visiting as more will be added each week.
Heaps of praise and thanks go to the many who have helped get Gluten Freedom over the line as it was an uphill battle. Not only to the cast and crew who all donated their time and efforts, but to our first and only sponsor, Massel, who's brave but insightful leap of faith we hope will be justified many times over. Mind you, their stocks and gravies are so good we would have given them a good plug anyway!
Our resident gluten free qualified expert, Dr Sue Shepherd, is internationally recognised for her work in the diagnosis and treatment of food allergies, and she can also turn out a mean gourmet treat. Sue is ably assisted in the kitchen by the incredibly stylish Jo Richardson who not only perpeares the food we film but also provides her big and very smart kitchen in which to film it. Then behind the cameras are Rob Copping and Darren Jones who light and shoot the food and the makeup genius of Jose Perez who tries hard to make the talent look as good as the food – in Fabian's case, anyway!
Thanks also to KitchenAid who have provided some really great kitchen appliances and cooking gear for the show and to give away to lucky members who win the competitions we'll be running regularly, to Videocraft who lent us camera gear as we were developing the series, to lovely young Adeleine, our intern, who is a valued member of the GF family, and to Armstrong Studios who kindly helped out with a lot of studio time at the right price – gratis!
Mention must also be made of our graphic designer, Callan Woolcock, who helped design the Gluten Freedom logo; the letter "g" in the shape of a keyhole. We hope it will become synonymous with unlocking the mystery of a gluten free lifestyle and we look forward to seeing it associated with more and more products, serivces and venues.
We hope you enjoy the Gluten Freedom experience. Join now and reap the many benfits we'll bring to the GF table.
